FedRAMP authorization is a huge deal for IT vendors that want to do business with the U.S. government. It has been a long, drawn-out process involving validation of the proposed solution to ensure it meets standards for secure delivery in the cloud.

After more than a year of no news, authorization came unexpectedly, resulting in a scramble to take advantage of the news. We were ready, though and I directed content for the effort, including:

• Crafting the press release

• The blog post announcement

• Supporting social media
